On a sunny sunday Alison Catnach, Pete Catnach, David Doherty & Steve Skinner headed for Painton for the 25th Torbay Half Marathon hosted by Torbay Athletic Club. Two lap route which starts and finishes on Paignton seafront, starting with one lap of Paignton Green before heading towards Torquay, passing the Torre Abbey and by the Princess Gardens returning back to Paignton.
The US Marines beat Royal Navy this year they've been racing at torbay half marathon since 1980. More Importantly; Alison Catnach came 25th in her category at 1:55:37 Pete Catnach came 40th in his category at 2:06:00

Mark Deacon & Peter Heywood headed down to St Austell to compete in round 6 of the Cornwall Glass and glazing Grand Prix. Five mile undulating course hosted by Sticker Football Club Mark Deacon 0:33:39
Peter Heywood 0:41:19 Looe Pioneers in full force descended on Cubert, for the Cubert 5. Hosted by the Newquay Road Runners fantastically organised event with medals, T-shirts and goody-bags they even laid on some great weather. Over 700 runners took part in fast 5 miler made up of 2 gently undulating laps. Out of the 34 running clubs in attendance Looe Pioneers were the 9th biggest, every running gave a stellar performance.
